Job Description:

ASM Global and Savor, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Banquet Captain at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. This position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Directors with the operation of the Front of House catering functions.

Job Responsibility:

Supports Food & Beverage Directors all activities surrounding guest functions to comply with function contracts and accesso ShoWare Center standards
Trains new employees accesso ShoWare Center process and procedures
Supervisors Front of House catering staff. Provides direction and support where needed
Ensures a clean and safe working environment
Effectively handling guest concerns as they arise
Responsible for accurate billing and close out procedure at the end of assigned functions
Confidently anticipating and responding to needs and expectations of our guests
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience in a banquet setting required
Arena experience preferred
Computer and POS system proficient
Flexible schedule for AM & PM shifts including weekends
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work both independently and in a Team oriented environment
Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time
Able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs
Must be able to pass background and credit check
