The Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages during banquets, receptions, and special events at Dellshire Resort. This position ensures professional, efficient, and engaging bar service in alignment with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and resort standards. The Banquet Bartender creates a polished, enjoyable experience for guests through expert beverage preparation, product knowledge, and warm, attentive service reflective of Dellshire Resort’s commitment to excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes, resort standards, and guest preferences
Set up and break down portable bars according to event specifications and BEOs
Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state and resort policies
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of bar stations and surrounding areas throughout service
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and glassware as needed during events
Accurately process cash and credit transactions through POS systems, following all cash-handling procedures
Monitor beverage inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to leadership
Engage with guests in a professional and courteous manner, creating a welcoming and upbeat environment
Assist with event setup, tear down, and storage of bar equipment and supplies
Report any guest incidents or service challenges promptly to the Banquet Captain or Manager
Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
Maintain Dellshire Resort’s standards of appearance, conduct, and hospitality at all times
Requirements:
Minimum one (1) year of bartending experience in a banquet, restaurant, or resort setting required
luxury or high-volume event experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer service
Strong guest service and interpersonal communication skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications required (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environments while maintaining composure and accuracy
Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event volume
