As a Banquet Attendant / Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of events by preparing and maintaining banquet spaces. Job Responsibility:

  • Always provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike
  • Set up and break down event space according to Banquet Event Orders
  • Ensure guest needs are attended to throughout events
  • Maintain public spaces during events for consistent clean presentation
  • Ensure supplies are available and equipment is properly set up and functioning
  • Track event supplies and equipment, carefully store furnishings when not in use, and promptly report repair or maintenance needs
  • Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way -- one that fosters teamwork
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions

Requirements:

  • A customer service professional with some banquet experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
  • A Hospitality or Tourism program graduate or degree holder
  • Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, and a strong commitment to Safety
  • Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty
  • Someone with strong attention to detail who values teamwork
  • Able to work well under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledgeable in food handling and food safety
  • The holder of valid ProServe certification
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. (moving furniture, equipment, etc.)
