Job Responsibility:
Always provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike
Set up and break down event space according to Banquet Event Orders
Ensure guest needs are attended to throughout events
Maintain public spaces during events for consistent clean presentation
Ensure supplies are available and equipment is properly set up and functioning
Track event supplies and equipment, carefully store furnishings when not in use, and promptly report repair or maintenance needs
Endeavor to work in a unified and collaborative way -- one that fosters teamwork
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Requirements:
A customer service professional with some banquet experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
A Hospitality or Tourism program graduate or degree holder
Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, and a strong commitment to Safety
Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty
Someone with strong attention to detail who values teamwork
Able to work well under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in food handling and food safety
The holder of valid ProServe certification
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. (moving furniture, equipment, etc.)
