Job Description:

The Banquet Aide position at Marriott Marquis Chicago involves completing final breakdown of functions, cleaning and maintaining work areas, transporting dirty linen, and assisting other departments to ensure optimum service to guests.   • Clean the room and return equipment to its proper location
  • Complete closing duties
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned
  • Restock linen shelves with clean linens
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
  • Assist other departments when needed
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
