Job Description:

Join our team at London Luton Airport as a Banks person, playing a crucial role. You will be meeting people from all over the world, where you will be part of the most vital part of these passengers' journeys, by making sure they get to their destination safely. Working as a member of the Luton Team, you will be responsible for working as a member of the Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) Team, you will be responsible for the transfer of PRM or those needing assistance from the aircraft to the terminal building or from the terminal building to the aircraft. You will utilise company equipment to fulfil this role. Full training will be given.

Job Responsibility:

  • Completing the Daily Equipment Check Sheet
  • Deliver or collect the special assistance passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques
  • Carry out Customer Car Agent (CCA) duties as directed by Movement Control
  • Escorting arriving and departing special assistance passengers
  • Provide assistance with baggage
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed legibly and submitted in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathic nature
  • Must be able to lift passengers in accordance with manual handling guidelines
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Basic IT Skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
