Job Description

This contract‑to‑hire Bankruptcy Paralegal role supports a busy, sophisticated Chapter 11 and commercial bankruptcy practice and offers meaningful responsibility and visibility from day one.

Job Responsibility

  • Heavy federal e‑filing (CM/ECF
  • exhibits included) in bankruptcy, district, and appellate courts
  • Docket and calendar deadlines, hearings, and court dates
  • Prepare and organize pleadings, exhibits, hearing notebooks, and document indexes
  • Draft Tables of Contents, Tables of Authorities, appendices, and assist with fee applications
  • Support Chapter 11 and commercial bankruptcy matters
  • Liaise with attorneys, legal staff, and court personnel across multiple offices

Requirements

  • Heavy federal e‑filing (CM/ECF

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, CM/ECF and PACER
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
