Requirements

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to practice law in Delaware or eligibility for admission
4+ years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a focus on Chapter 11 cases and adversary proceedings
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with Delaware Bankruptcy Court procedures is preferred

Job Responsibility

Represent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings, and related litigation
Draft and analyze court documents, including pleadings, motions, and other legal filings
Participate in hearings, depositions, and negotiations to advocate effectively for clients
Conduct thorough legal research to develop strategic solutions for client matters
Collaborate closely with partners and clients on restructuring, insolvency, and distressed asset transactions
Maintain accurate case files and manage ongoing client communications
Provide clear, strategic counsel to clients facing bankruptcy and restructuring challenges
Ensure compliance with Delaware Bankruptcy Court procedures and practices

Job Responsibility

Handle all aspects of commercial collection and bankruptcy cases from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
