Job Description:

In your role as Banking Specialist you will be part of Avaloq’s Banking Operations division (BO). With our services we are the back office for more than 30 banks globally and ensure their processes run smoothly, compliant and efficiently. You will join the Asset Data Sourcing team, which is responsible for the integration, mapping and distribution of financial instruments data. As a result the team ensures efficient data utilization and processing activities within the downstream Avaloq banking system.

Job Responsibility:

  • Executing and monitoring of daily operation in line with agreed SLA`s
  • Act as a single point of contact towards clients, data vendors (in particular SIX Financial Information but also Bloomberg) and internal stakeholders in all Asset Hub relevant topics
  • Supporting internal business analysts for complex functional research activities or client requirements
  • Depending on your personal qualifications and capabilities, further tasks can be added in relation with the expansion of our Asset Hub services
  • Work closely with colleagues from a number of different departments and regions to provide excellent business support in our Asset Hub Data services

Requirements:

  • A proven banking background with focus on back office administration
  • At least 3 years` service experience as banking specialist of financial data feeds, specifically in the area of data delivery (e.g. Asset Hub of a bank)
  • A solid user experience of the Enterprise Data Management system “Temenos DataSource” (aka T-ProDB) is very desirable and would be a plus
  • Experience in TDS rule engine, configuration and customization would be a plus
  • In-depth knowledge in the management of financial data feeds, specifically from data vendor SIX Financial Information
  • Ideally experience in the Avaloq system
  • PL/SQL scripting would be a plus
  • Analytical thinking and working in a client-focused manner
  • Positive, pro-active, and can-do attitude with a high degree of independence, integrity and reliability
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English – German would be a plus

Nice to have:
