Job Description:

A Top 100 national law firm is seeking a Senior/Principal Associate for its Banking & Finance team in Birmingham. The role focuses on asset-based lending, working with a highly regarded national team on varied and complex transactions.

Job Responsibility:

Lead drafting and negotiating facility agreements
draft security documents
handle intercreditor arrangements and bespoke precedents
manage restatements, waivers and restructurings
work with borrowers, lenders, and investors
collaborate across restructuring, litigation, and corporate teams

Requirements:

Confident and experienced banking lawyer
strong background in asset based lending or general lending work
desire to deepen expertise in asset based lending
enjoy working closely with clients
ability to mentor junior colleagues
