We are currently seeking a Banking & Financial Services Sales Director to join our team in Newark, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US). We are seeking a high-impact, results-driven Sales Director to lead new business growth within the Banking & Financial Services sector—specifically across Capital Markets and Wealth & Asset Management. This is a high-visibility 'hunter' role focused on winning new logos, shaping strategic deals, and driving large-scale transformation engagements. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders while orchestrating complex deal pursuits across NTT DATA’s full portfolio.   • Drive New Logo Growth: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities to achieve and exceed TCV, revenue, and margin targets
  • Lead Strategic Sales Pursuits: Own end-to-end sales cycles, serving as the Sales Pursuit Lead and primary executive contact for clients and internal leadership
  • Sell Across the Full Portfolio: Position integrated solutions spanning Applications & Digital Engineering, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Data & AI, Advisory Consulting, Infrastructure, Cloud & Security
  • Collaborate for Impact: Partner with Client Executives, Solution Architects, and Consulting Leaders to develop differentiated, outcome-based solutions
  • Create Market Demand: Leverage marketing and campaign resources to build pipeline and generate targeted opportunities

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience across IT services, consulting, or technology solutions
  • Demonstrated success selling complex, multi-service deals in a quota-carrying role
  • 8+ years in new business development with a strong track record of landing new logo clients
  • Consistently exceeded $8M+ annual TCV quotas
  • 8 years’ experience leading client team engagements that involve translating client challenges into high-value, outcome-driven solutions and working with industry analysts/advisors such as Gartner, Everest, Forrester, ISG, or IDC
  • 5 + years deep experience with IT services and solutions in Banking, Capital Markets, or Wealth & Asset Management
  • 8 years of stakeholder management experience, including presenting to C-level business owners and key decision makers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
