Job Description:

The Mumbai Industry Analytics Group in Citi works with Investment Banking teams to help corporate clients achieve their strategic goals, focusing on strategic decisions and transactions.

Job Responsibility:

Build entire range of IB assignments including a complex financial model in the aligned sector
Research and prepare industry and market overview
Analyze specific company – business operations, financial information, and operational KPIs
Perform relative valuation analysis including comparable and precedent transaction analysis
Take full ownership of all assignments for both self and juniors
Actively contribute to increasing industry knowledge and market awareness
Partner with the team to deliver value to clients on their most important strategic decisions and transactions

Requirements:

Deeply interested in investment Banking, economics, and finance in general
Strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts
Analytical approach with good attention to details
Demonstrate multi-tasking skills and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, including juniors’ assignments
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Self-accountability in identifying and acting on development opportunities, promotion of constructive dialogue, and sharing of best practices
Proactively works towards innovative idea generation to improve existing approaches
Ability to recognize and respect confidentiality of information
