We are seeking a Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for critical banking applications and payment gateway systems. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems while collaborating with global teams and stakeholders.
Job Responsibility
Provide L2/L3 support for business-critical applications and payment systems
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability using observability tools
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across SQL, Linux, and Windows environments
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
Manage incidents, service requests, and changes via ServiceNow
Support deployments, releases, and production validations
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams for issue resolution
Communicate effectively with stakeholders on incident status and resolutions
Requirements
3+ years in Application/Product Support roles
3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (querying, troubleshooting)
3+ years of experience in Linux and/or Windows environments
1+ years of experience with monitoring/observability tools
1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP and other cloud technologies (cloud fundamentals, troubleshooting)
2+ years of experience using ServiceNow, or similar ITSM tools
Nice to have
Experience supporting payment gateway or banking applications
Familiarity with incident management and SLA-driven environments
Exposure to scripting (Shell/Python) for automation
