Job Description

The role involves working on various Investment Banking analyses including market valuation, financial analysis, impact of a corporate transaction on earnings and other key financial indicators. Analyst will be aligned to a specific sector and geography. Responsibilities include industry analysis, company analysis, valuation, preparing newsletters for senior management, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Assist in deal set up, compliance checks and account opening for new clients run on in-house systems
  • Work closely with the senior sector bankers, country coverage, and product teams to help generate origination leads, and contribute toward the origination and more importantly execution of deal mandates
  • Prepare materials for both client and internal presentations, and attend client meetings and presentations where appropriate
  • Liaise with regional counterparts in the assistance of preparation of materials to be used internally and externally
  • Development and maintenance of strong relationships with corporate clients by understanding their business, financial goals, and industry trends
  • Generation of ideas and identification of opportunities that expand the bank's client base and generate new business opportunities
  • In-depth financial analysis and due diligence on client companies to assess their financial health and valuation
  • Collaboration with legal and compliance teams to review, draft, and maintain legal documentation required for transactions, including contracts and agreements
