Job Description:

We are looking for a customer-focused Bank Teller to support daily member service operations in New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position offers consistent hours Monday through Friday, with an eight-hour schedule and an organized office environment. The person in this role will assist members with account-related needs, process financial transactions, and provide support across front-desk interactions and back-office service activities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Welcome members and visitors, provide a positive first impression, and direct them to the appropriate banking services
  • Process routine teller transactions accurately while maintaining a high standard of service and compliance
  • Assist with opening new accounts and guide members through required documentation and enrollment steps
  • Update member records, including address changes and other account maintenance requests, with close attention to detail
  • Support digital service activities by preparing and sending electronic documents through DocuSign
  • Respond to member questions received through online service channels such as chat and web-based inquiries
  • Balance time between lobby support, teller duties, and back-office customer service tasks to meet daily operational needs
  • Help resolve member concerns efficiently while promoting a smooth and attentive service experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in banking, teller operations, or a customer-facing financial services role
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to assist members clearly and effectively in person and online
  • Working knowledge of customer account support, service issue resolution, and transaction handling
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort using CRM, database, and other business software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day in a fast-paced service environment
  • High level of accuracy, organization, and discretion when handling sensitive member information
  • Detail-oriented presentation and willingness to follow workplace dress standards
  • Availability to work on a permanent basis, Monday through Friday, in Rahway, New Jersey
