Job Description:

Bank Support Worker role in Connel and Oban supporting individuals to embrace independence through daily activities. The position involves helping with tasks like making sandwiches as opportunities for empowerment and personal growth, turning small tasks into victories for greater independence.

Job Responsibility:

Support individuals in their own homes and shared housing
Encourage independence and foster meaningful connections
Guide individuals to navigate daily challenges
Support with activities including shopping, cooking, household tasks, day trips, attending football matches, walking, cycling, joining mental health service-run groups, travelling by bus and train, enjoying music, participating in local events, and meeting family for meals

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence and access to a car/vehicle
Must complete an enhanced DBS check
Gender is considered a genuine occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9)
Must meet minimum criteria for vacancy
