Job Description:

At Affinity Trust, we empower people to lead meaningful lives on their own terms. As a support worker, you will play a key role in promoting independence and building social connections. Your support will make a real difference in their lives. You will be supporting our gentleman in his home in Worlingworth. He enjoys getting out in the fresh air for walks in the local area as well as trips in the car to areas such as Woodbridge, Stowmarket and Ipswich.

Job Responsibility:

Adapt support to fit what each person needs and wants daily
Encourage people to make their own choices, big and small
Help people to do things themselves to be as independent as possible
Support people to build confidence and life skills
Support people to be a part of their community, joining local clubs and connecting with friends and family
Be understanding, allowing people to take their time and do things at their own pace
Celebrate people’s achievements, no matter how small they might seem to others

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
