We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join our team at Wellington Support. Phoenix House is a rehabilitation service created to support males aged 18 years and above to make progress towards greater independence after they have spent time within mental health or other care settings. Some gentlemen will probably only need to stay for a few months, while others may seek a longer-term arrangement. The team at Phoenix House aims to provide a safe and supportive environment where people can improve their wellbeing, develop their strengths, and achieve the goals that are important to them. Everyone has the opportunity to plan their own therapeutic programme with the support of their team. This will include everything necessary and relevant to other measures that may be in place, such as Community Treatment Orders (CTO) or Conditional Discharge requirements. Everyone is encouraged by the team to maintain their hygiene and the care of their environment to a high standard and to be an active partner in all aspects of the care of their physical health. The people supported are also encouraged to develop their weekly routine, which will include educational programmes, work or volunteering skills, leisure, and hobbies.
