Job Description:

Casual workers supporting Southport Adult Services Team within a family run not-for-profit organisation providing residential and supported accommodation services for vulnerable adults, families, and young people. Services are across two sites at Leicester Street and Leyland Road, offering 24 hour supported accommodation and emergency crash beds.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support to vulnerable adults
  • Support residents through crisis and periods of change
  • Promote positive outcomes
  • Move residents towards independence

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable individuals
  • Understanding of complex issues faced by residents (homelessness, harm reduction, drug and alcohol dependency, domestic violence, mental health)
  • Ability to provide high standards of support to vulnerable adults
  • Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals in crisis
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently record information in case notes and support plans

  • We work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning
