Working as part of our talented and highly committed care teams, Registered Nurses are an integral part of our homes. You will work closely with the managers within the home to ensure the highest standard of person-centred resident care.
Job Responsibility:
Working as part of care teams to ensure highest standard of person-centred resident care
Ensure all staff contribute to efficient running of care home
General observations and support
Wound care
Lead and support team, completing regular supervisions
Standing in for Deputy Home Manager and/or Home Manager in their absence
Report ill health among residents and arrange GP/professional visits
Maintain care plans in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy
Assess residents' care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care
Assess social and health care needs of new residents and ongoing review of others
Maintain accurate records and individualised care plans
Carry out regular checks on residents
Give clear handover report at end of each shift
Administer/order/store prescribed medicines
Maintain integrity in dealings with residents' personal and financial affairs
Establish good communication with residents, relatives and multidisciplinary team
Adhere to NMC guidelines/regulations
Maintain logbooks and records as required
Requirements:
Valid NMC License with a minimum of 1 year Nursing practice
