Job Description

Dovehaven Care Homes are recruiting for a Bank Registered General Nurse to join our team at our Callands Care Home in Warrington. Working 12hr shifts 7- 7, you can choose if you want to work days, nights, and how many hours a week- Bank Contract. Callands is a purpose-built care home that caters for up to 120 service users. The home specialises in dementia and nursing care. Our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible, promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote high standards of nursing care
  • Ensure all staff are supervised appropriately and the shift runs in a smooth and efficient manner
  • Perform all general nursing duties, following CQC and NMC guidelines, update care plans and administer safe medication
  • Being dependable and flexible in order to meet the needs of the resident and the home

Requirements

  • Current NMC registration
  • Valid pin
  • Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
  • Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DOLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
  • Dedicated and compassionate
  • Person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing
