Job Description:

Bank Practice Nurse role at the Hastings Hub. Express new ideas, take initiative and save lives. Play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. The role is ideal for someone with experience in smear testing, chronic disease management, asthma, diabetes, wound care, health screening, and risk assessment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct
  • Providing assessment, treatment, screening, and health education to patients
  • Working independently and alongside a team of nurses and GPs
  • Being responsible for the safe and effective delivery and future development of the overall service
  • Working towards the achievement of the Practice aims and objectives
  • Supporting the delivery of the Practice business plan

Requirements:

  • Experience in smear testing
  • Experience in chronic disease management
  • Experience in asthma
  • Experience in diabetes
  • Experience in wound care
  • Experience in health screening
  • Experience in risk assessment
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Completion of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Two references
  • Current UK professional registration
