Join Our Team as a Bank Nursery Practitioner. Looking for flexible nursery work that fits around your life? Whether you're balancing studies, family life, another role, or simply looking for the freedom to choose your shifts, our Bank Nursery Practitioner opportunities offer flexible, casual work within a warm and supportive nursery community. At The Old Station Nursery, we believe everyone is still growing - little humans and big humans alike. That's why, when you join our bank team at The Grange, you'll enjoy the flexibility of casual work alongside the support, training and connection of a caring nursery team where you'll always feel part of something bigger. Where You'll Be Working: Our day nursery is set in a two-storey period property in the coastal town of Ramsgate. The Grange Montessori Nursery provides a home-from-home environment where children thrive. Our Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' nursery offers children a rich, enabling environment where qualified nursery practitioners passionately nurture and develop their unique personalities and characters. Our bright and airy rooms have high ceilings, and our large, secure garden is suitable for all ages and weather conditions. Together, these create a spacious environment for children to engage in hands-on learning and make creative choices, guided by our attentive Montessori teacher. The Grange Montessori Nursery is situated on West Cliff Road, a short stroll from Ramsgate town centre. The nursery has excellent transport links from the town centre and a bus stop right outside the front. Parking is available outside the nursery. What You'll Be Doing: As part of our Bank Nursery Team, you'll support children and colleagues across the nursery as and when needed - whether that's covering holidays, supporting during busy periods, or helping provide consistency for children when teams need extra support. No two days are ever quite the same - and that's part of the joy. One moment you could be building dens outdoors and the next you'll be helping bring story time to life. You'll support children through play, creativity, curiosity, and connection while helping create a safe, nurturing environment where they feel happy, valued, and confident to explore.
