We are seeking passionate and driven Bank Nurses to join our team. The primary purpose of the Bank Nurse is to support complex care packages within the person’s own home. We specialise in high acuity complex needs including tracheostomy and ventilator support. This is a field-based role involving regular travel across the West Midlands region as well as working from home. This service is delivered through teams of support workers who report to the Complex Care Manager (CCM). Accordingly, the CNS has direct responsibility for ensuring the capability and standards of service delivered by these teams. Critical within this role and underpinning the delivery, is the need to operate both flexibly and reliably, whilst fiercely ensuring Acuity's values around client-centred care are never compromised and that all regulatory compliance standards are diligently adhered to. Reporting to the Head of Clinical, you will work closely with Complex Care Managers, ICBs and multidisciplinary teams to assess new clients, develop care plans, train and sign off support workers, and ensure packages are delivered safely and effectively. You will review and audit existing care packages, maintain clinical documentation, complete regular client reviews, reassess staff competencies, and address any clinical concerns promptly. The role also involves contributing to policy development, attending relevant meetings, and supporting a positive, collaborative team culture. This is a key clinical role with a strong focus on quality, safety and continuity of care.
Job Responsibility:
Support complex care packages within the person’s own home

Requirements:
Commitment to ongoing CPD, with a proactive approach to learning and professional development
Experience across varied settings including hospital, community and home-based care
Strong background in ICU, spinal or complex care
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own diary effectively
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with flexibility to travel up to 2 hours
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and service needs
Experience working with both adult and paediatric clients
