As a Bank Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing both managerial oversight and direct care support. Job Responsibility:
Provide Personal Care Assistance: Assist residents with personal care tasks, including meal preparation, administering medication, mobility assistance, housekeeping, bathing, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity
Respond to Emergencies: Handle emergency calls from residents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure their safety
Conduct Security Checks: Undertake full security checks throughout your shift to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents
Carry Out Environmental Checks: Regularly inspect the facility's environment, ensuring appropriate lighting and other environmental factors are maintained
Oversee Maintenance: Address day-to-day building and ground maintenance issues. Refer unresolved maintenance problems to the Operations Manager for further action
Act as a Care Worker/Duty Manager: In this dual role, you will provide on-call care within the facility during your shift while overseeing daily operations. No previous management experience is required, but a readiness to take on both care and managerial responsibilities is essential
Requirements:
Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but not essential
A genuine passion for helping others is required
Ability to provide personal care and support, including meal preparation, medication administration, and assistance with mobility and personal hygiene
Capability to respond effectively to emergency calls and take appropriate action
High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage building maintenance and security checks
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic nature
Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to the varying needs of residents
A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are required (preferred, but not essential)
A strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and operational excellence
