As a Bank Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing both managerial oversight and direct care support. Job Responsibility

  • Provide Personal Care Assistance: Assist residents with personal care tasks, including meal preparation, administering medication, mobility assistance, housekeeping, bathing, and dressing, ensuring their comfort and dignity
  • Respond to Emergencies: Handle emergency calls from residents, taking appropriate action to resolve issues and ensure their safety
  • Conduct Security Checks: Undertake full security checks throughout your shift to ensure the safety and security of the facility and its residents
  • Carry Out Environmental Checks: Regularly inspect the facility's environment, ensuring appropriate lighting and other environmental factors are maintained
  • Oversee Maintenance: Address day-to-day building and ground maintenance issues. Refer unresolved maintenance problems to the Operations Manager for further action
  • Act as a Care Worker/Duty Manager: In this dual role, you will provide on-call care within the facility during your shift while overseeing daily operations. No previous management experience is required, but a readiness to take on both care and managerial responsibilities is essential

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but not essential
  • A genuine passion for helping others is required
  • Ability to provide personal care and support, including meal preparation, medication administration, and assistance with mobility and personal hygiene
  • Capability to respond effectively to emergency calls and take appropriate action
  • High level of organisational skills with the ability to manage building maintenance and security checks
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends, and adapt to the varying needs of residents
  • A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are required (preferred, but not essential)
  • A strong commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and operational excellence
