Job Description:

This role will be based at Oakdene Care Centre, in the Mansfield area of Nottinghamshire. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 40 residents, living with a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team.

Job Responsibility:

Undertaking cleaning tasks in accordance with the home’s requirements
Deep cleaning areas to maintain excellent standards of hygiene
Vacuuming, dusting, mopping and polishing
Cleaning shared and personal bathrooms and toilets
Maintaining stock of cleaning products and ensuring COSHH controls are adhered to
Completing paperwork and documentation to record cleaning activities as required

Requirements:

Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents
Patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities
Prior experience as a Cleaner within a similar environment is desirable but not essential

Nice to have:

Prior experience as a Cleaner within a similar environment

Hold regular team meetings to aid development and keep everyone updated
To work towards and aim to achieve all sales and membership targets that are set
To drive and maximise secondary spending revenue
To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness
Ensure the in-house cleaners (General Assistant) are cleaning to the highest standard. To manage the weekly banking process so that wastage and variance is minimal, maximising profit
To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by all team members and yourself
