We are looking for an experienced catering tutor who could join our bank staff. We provide training courses for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Our catering training gives students the opportunity to learn practical cooking and hospitality skills in a supportive environment. Students gain hands-on experience preparing meals for the Share community and developing the skills needed to work safely and confidently in a kitchen. As a bank worker with us, you would be responsible for stepping in to provide cover during staff absence. Students take part in catering sessions for educational or wellbeing progression and your main responsibilities would be to support and train our students in the full range of catering and food preparation skills needed for appropriate external qualifications. A key part of the catering project is preparing lunch for the wider student body each day. This means working with students to plan menus, prepare ingredients and cook meals at scale while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety. Work is offered on an as-needed basis once you are added to our bank staff. There is no guarantee of work; however, we are looking for people who are happy to be contacted at short notice to provide relief or can be booked for block weeks in advance.
