About the Role: Evermore Care is seeking experienced Care Assistants for our new service at Astley View in Chorley, Lancashire. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative care environment. You will work closely with the team to ensure each resident receives personalised, thoughtful care tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality
