Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for Band C Nurse to join our team based in Oswestry on a, permanent basis. You will be required to work 12.5-hour shifts both days and nights. In return, our Nurse will receive a competitive rate of £38,383 to £46,221 per annum (dependant on experience). Plus, unsociable and weekend enhancements. We support more than 750 local families who are either caring for a terminally ill child, or whose child has died. Job Responsibility:
Providing professional care and improving the quality of life for every child with a life-threatening condition and their family
Reaching every child with a life-threatening condition as soon as possible to give their families informed choices about accessing our services
Raising the money we need and targeting those resources in the best way to make the biggest impact
Provide excellent specialist palliative and end of life care to children and young people
Provide holistic care to children and young people with complex, life-limiting conditions
Build meaningful relationships with children and their families
Provide the right care and support for them, when they need us most
Requirements:
Registered Nurse (Children’s Nurse or Adult Nurse (RN) with paediatric experience)
Demonstrates an understanding of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions and children’s palliative care
Has excellent communication and leadership skills
Sets high standards of care and is a good role model
