Job Description:

This role will involve providing advanced clinical pharmacy support within a hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective medicines use across services. Duties include clinical screening, medicines optimisation, and supporting governance and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal mechanisms governing medicines use and experience leading quality improvement projects, including developing, implementing, and auditing patient group directions or non medical prescribing practices.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

GPhC registration
Minimum of 6 months NHS hospital experience
Experience with patient group directions or non medical prescribing desirable
Strong clinical governance and quality improvement experience
Excellent IT, problem solving, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload to deadlines

Nice to have:
