Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work on a locum basis in London. This role involves working within paediatric services, focusing on assessment and recommendations for EHCPs. You will work closely with local authority case coordinators, as well as teaching professionals, parents, and carers to support the management of complex cases. The role also includes providing specialist representation in tribunal cases and working collaboratively with the tribunals manager for the local authority in mediation processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working within paediatric services, focusing on assessment and recommendations for EHCPs
  • Working closely with local authority case coordinators, teaching professionals, parents, and carers to support the management of complex cases
  • Providing specialist representation in tribunal cases
  • Working collaboratively with the tribunals manager for the local authority in mediation processes

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Previous NHS or local authority experience
  • Strong paediatric Occupational Therapy experience
  • Experience completing EHCP assessments and reports
  • Experience working with complex paediatric caseloads
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

Experience supporting or attending tribunal/mediation cases
