As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred podiatry services. You will manage your own caseload, providing routine podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, while contributing to the wider clinical team.
Job Responsibility
Conducting comprehensive podiatric assessments and developing individualised care plans
Delivering routine podiatry treatments including nail care, skin care, and management of common foot conditions
Identifying and escalating complex cases appropriately within the multidisciplinary team
Providing care in both clinic and community/home settings
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records in line with professional standards
Working collaboratively with physiotherapists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals
Promoting patient education, self-care, and preventative strategies
Ensuring adherence to clinical governance, infection control, and health & safety standards
Requirements
Current HCPC registration as a Podiatrist
Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based podiatry practice
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Show a proactive approach to learning and professional development
Be comfortable working across both clinic and community settings
