Band 5 RGN - Flexible Shifts - Countess of Chester Hospital. Are you a Registered General Nurse seeking a dynamic role with immediate opportunities? We are looking for flexible and dedicated RGNs to join our team at a leading hospital. If you are ready to make a real difference, this could be the perfect fit for you! Work Location: Countess of Chester Hospital - Countess of Chester Health Park, The, Liverpool Rd, Chester CH2 1UL. What's on Offer? We are offering a fantastic opportunity for Band 5 RGNs to work across various general medical wards. Your ability to adapt and provide excellent patient care is key. You will be allocated to a ward based on the day's needs upon arrival, ensuring you are always contributing where you are needed most. This role offers day shifts (long days, earlies, or late shifts) with flexible working patterns. Shift Examples: Early: 07:30 - 14:00; Late: 14:00 - 20:30; Long Day: 07:30 - 20:30. You will be earning a competitive rate of £21.36 per hour (Umbrella) or £18.10 per hour (PAYE Rolled Up).

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide flexible nursing care across various departments, including emergency departments and general medical wards
  • Deliver standard RGN duties, focusing on patient care, accurate documentation, and clinical intervention
  • Adapt quickly to ward allocations based on immediate needs

Requirements:

  • valid NMC pin
  • General Nursing Degree
  • Full Right to work in the UK
  • a minimum of 6 months of experience within the NHS as a RGN
  • Mandatory training and DBS clearance
  • Immunisation compliance
  • understanding of hospital environments and patient care protocols
