Job Responsibility:
Undertake radiographic and imaging examinations, following exposure charts accurately to achieve a high standard of image quality.
Participate in routine daily inspections of equipment and quality assurance procedures, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate manager.
Maintain a high standard of service characterised by courtesy, kindness, interest, and efficiency at all times.
Abide by the Society of Radiographers and HCPC Codes of Professional Conduct.
Take responsibility for your own professional development in accordance with CPD requirements.
Represent the Trust's commitment to high standards by treating all members of the public and staff in a respectful manner.
Requirements:
You must hold a BSc (Hons) in Radiography (Diagnostic), a Diploma from the College of Radiographers, or an equivalent higher qualification.
Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or eligibility to apply before taking up the post.
Proven ability to prioritise your own workload and effective communication skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
Up-to-date knowledge of current professional issues.
Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
