Job Description:

Hunter AHP have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join a supportive NHS hospital pharmacy team based in South London. This is an excellent role for a qualified pharmacy technician with hospital experience looking to support the smooth running of a busy pharmacy department and contribute to high standards of patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Dispensing inpatient, outpatient, and discharge prescriptions for all types of medication
  • Supporting daily operations within the dispensary and pharmacy stores
  • Participating in the provision of safe and effective pharmaceutical care
  • Ensuring accurate labelling and checking of medications in line with SOPs
  • Maintaining stock control and supporting medicines management across clinical areas
  • Liaising with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
  • Contributing to the efficient, cost-effective use of medicines in line with trust policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
  • Previous NHS hospital experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Able to commit to a full-time weekday schedule
