Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and organised General Secretary to join our busy administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a keen interest in supporting patient care through accurate record management. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and updating patient records, ensuring information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for updating spreadsheets, inputting data onto internal systems, and supporting the wider team with general administrative duties.

Job Responsibility

  • Keep accurate records, minutes, constitutions, policies, and reports
  • Prepare agendas, circulate papers, and support meetings
  • Communicate decisions and updates to members, committees, or stakeholders
  • Support governance and help ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Coordinate day-to-day administration and organizational tasks
  • Act as a liaison between leadership, committees, and members

Requirements

  • Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and data entry
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection
