Balance Sheet Reconciliation Intmd Analyst

• Ensure assigned Balance Sheet accounts comply with BSRS Policy
• Manage reconciliation exceptions and report them accurately
• Coordinate Internal and External Audits for reconciliation functions
• Support implementation of strategic ledger and participate in UAT
• Reduce red account balances and risk exposure
• Drive monthly Account Review Forums with senior controllers
• Mentor team members and encourage vocal participation
• Build trust and confidence within the team
• Facilitate remediation of reconciliation exceptions
• Maintain appropriate documentation/controls for integrity of financial information
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies
• Participate in audits and improve control environment
• Address and remediate all high and medium risk EUCs.

• Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting and/or product control (2-5 years)
• Strong ability to analyze complex financial data, preferably in a banking/financial services environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
• Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite
• Financial management competencies
• Ability to manage risks and enhance controls in complex accounting processes
• Team building and mentoring skills
• Self-motivated with decision-making capabilities
• Ability to drive implementations across multiple project teams
• Ability to work across functional areas
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
