Job Description:

The position is responsible for reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts for specific business segments. It supports compliance, audits, policy adherence, and risk management practices while providing talent development and mentoring to team members. The role involves partnering with teams to improve efficiency, controls, and compliance with financial standards.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled in line with policy
maintain supporting documentation for work performed
identify root causes of recurring exceptions
report profit and loss at risk in eRecon
escalate and facilitate remediation of issues
support internal and external audits
coordinate Monthly Account Review Forum
improve efficiency, productivity, and controls
create effective control environments
ensure compliance with policies and regulations
drive and coordinate remediation of high-risk EUCs
mentor junior colleagues and encourage team inputs

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience related to accounting, financial reporting, and/or product control
strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights on US GAAP/IFRS, preferably in banking/financial services
proficiency with MS Project and MS Office Suite
financial management competencies
ability to manage in complex and dynamic environments
team building and mentoring skills
self-motivated with decision-making ability
experience interacting across functional areas
demonstrated ability to manage risk and enhance controls in financial accounting processes
bachelor's/university degree or equivalent experience
