Join our dynamic production team as a Level 1 Operator. You will be responsible for executing diverse tasks across the bakery, including boxing, boiler feeding, and tote management. This role requires managing equipment, following strict food safety standards (GMPs), and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth workflow. Candidates must be prepared for 12-hour rotating shifts (6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am), heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, and must possess reliable, independent transportation to the facility.
Job Responsibility:
Execute packaging
monitor boiler temperatures
manage ingredient totes
maintain a clean, safe workspace
ensure proper packaging, labeling, and transport of finished products to storage
load bagel boards into the boiler, monitor temperatures, and safely stack product racks
coordinate premix flow to mixers, conduct equipment checks, and document all tote usage
adhere to all SOPs, GMPs, and health and safety rules
Requirements:
High school diploma
clear criminal record
own reliable vehicle
ability to lift 50 lbs
English fluency
standing and walking for the full duration of a 12-hour shift
lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs regularly
ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, reaching, and climbing
What we offer:
Pay Rate: $18.88 per hour (plus applicable premiums based on shift/department)
