We are seeking someone motivated and energetic to join our bakery team. The role involves being responsible for packaging fresh bread, pastries, cakes, ensuring high quality merchandising, cleaning and assisting the baking team. This role also involves a lot of manual handling and lifting such as lifting flour bags and mixing bowls and adhering to and maintaining food safety standards. This role is permanent, 27-hour 3 days a week with early starts.
Job Responsibility:
Packaging fresh bread, pastries, cakes
Ensuring high quality merchandising
Cleaning
Assisting the baking team
Manual handling and lifting (e.g., flour bags, mixing bowls)
Adhering to and maintaining food safety standards
Packing and traying of products
Preparation and assisting bakers

Requirements:
Motivated and energetic
Some retail experience desirable
Physically fit
Able to handle manual handling and lifting
Adhere to and maintain food safety standards
New Zealand citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit (for overseas applicants)
