As the Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bakery department. Your role will include daily baking schedule, managing staff, ensuring product quality, maintaining inventory, achieving financial targets and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for creating a positive and productive work environment.
Job Responsibility
Manage and lead the bakery team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure the highest standards of product quality and presentation
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing waste
Develop and implement new bakery products and promotions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints
Monitor sales and profitability, and work towards achieving department targets
Requirements
Proven experience in a bakery management role or similar
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Knowledge of bakery products and production processes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
