Job Responsibility:
Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment
Offer product samples to customers to help discover new items
Inform customers of bakery specials
Provide customers with fresh products with correct portion sizes to prevent shrink
Recommend bakery items to customers
Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, and ovens according to company guidelines
Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to recipes
Prepare, package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise
Check product quality and review sell-by dates
Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
Report ordering and shipping discrepancies to management
Understand store layout to assist customers
Stay current with seasonal and special ads
Maintain knowledge of bakery products to respond to customer inquiries
Monitor inventory and stock conditions
Ensure proper temperature maintenance and logs
Promote trust and respect among associates
Create a welcoming environment for customers
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
Comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
Display a positive attitude
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and report repairs

Requirements:
