Must be able to read, write and perform addition/subtraction calculations

Job Responsibility

Prepare bakery items according to company policies, procedures, programs and performance standards
Responsible for helping to maintain food costs and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen at all times
Performs all duties to maximize guest satisfaction and quality of work environment as directed by Kitchen Manager or Manager on Duty
Bake – Prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications
Label and date all trays of baked items
Observe proper food storage procedures
Ensures high standards of food safety
Display – Set up and maintain the display cases
Use proper merchandising display techniques
Work with Host and Cashier to set up samples, holiday packaging and merchandising

Focused and detail oriented with an ability to work on your own initiative
Extensive knowledge of mixing, shaping and baking artisan doughs and considerable lamination knowledge
As a senior leader you must have a positive, problem solving and responsible attitude
2 years experience with viennoiserie setting is preferred
Food Safety Level 2 (or equivalent) is beneficial
Bakery NVQ Level 2 Diploma is beneficial

Job Responsibility

The planning and execution of production schedules with senior managers
Mix, shape, bake and decorate a range of specialist viennoiserie with care and consistency
Place stock orders from suppliers accounting for waste as necessary throughout production
Assist your larger Coffi Lab Kitchen team as needed in other production and the packing/management of outgoing orders
Assist in the training of other team members on bakery lines
Assist in new product development testing as needed
Maintain quality control in the bakery, making certain that our menu items are made to spec and with the upmost care- every time
Managing high levels of food safety compliance and helping ensure all relevant production and traceability paperwork is completed and well as helping ensure our company Health and Safety guidelines are practiced
