Job Description:

Prepare baked goods and ensure food safety compliance within W Guangzhou under Marriott International's standards. Collaborate with team members to achieve quality goals.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use
safely use baking, measuring tools/equipment/appliances for baked foods
follow food safety handling policies and procedures
ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures
monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served
follow company policies including safety and security
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
complete safety training and certifications
maintain positive working relationships with others
protect company assets
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
less than 1-year related work experience
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
ability to work over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
ability to reach overhead and below the knees
ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop
ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
