• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists
• safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances
• follow food safety handling policies and procedures
• check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
• wash and disinfect kitchen area
• set-up and break-down work station
• monitor quality of food prepared
• comply with safety and security standards

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• less than 1-year related work experience
• no supervisory experience
• compliance with food safety policies
• ability to lift objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
• ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
• ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period
• positive working relationships
