Job Responsibility:
Prepare products using all methods established portions and recipes for baking preparation
manages daily production and communication of product counts with coaching team
prepare breakfast items for bake including quiche cinnamon rolls muffins etc
prepare and bake bread items including loaves buns rolls cookies etc
daily preparation of seasonal fresh fruit for pies and toppings
clean all bake related machines workstations transit trays and instruments too large for dishwasher
responsible to properly label organize and rotate bake ingredients in freeze and storage areas
rotates bake inventory merchandise and product supplies to maintain freshness and quality make products fresh daily
receive orders check invoices and put deliveries away as needed
prepare kitchen for the day including making sure everything is secure lighting the oven etc
notify the coaches of any food quality issues inconsistencies of product with recipes low inventory etc
maintain a clean and sanitary bake area and station at all times
comply with established weight and measures health sanitation and safety policies procedures and guidelines
protect the brand through promoting and providing extraordinary service when interacting with team members and guests
demonstrate dependable leadership qualities to work primarily unassisted and is proactive to escalate matters as needed
flexible to cross train in other functions for back of the house kitchen areas
must be available to work morning afternoon and evening shifts includes weekends and holidays
Requirements:
At least 1 year prior work experience as a cook or baker or enrollment in a culinary program
ability to use scales thermometers measuring and divide and multiply recipes
good organizational communication and problem-solving skills
experience working with baking equipment including oven mixers etc
clear understanding of kitchen and food safety guidelines
