As a Baker, you will be responsible for the daily preparation and production of breads, doughs, and baked specialties, always ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and flavor. We are looking for an organized, creative, and detail-oriented professional with a strong passion for fermentation, sourdough, and both traditional and contemporary baking techniques, ready to contribute to the resort’s exceptional culinary reputation.
Job Responsibility:
Preparing and baking artisanal breads, laminated doughs, fermented products, and other bakery specialties according to established recipes and standards
Managing fermentation, kneading, proofing, and baking processes with precision
Ensuring proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
Monitoring product quality and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
Collaborating closely with the culinary and pastry teams to ensure smooth service
Keeping the bakery area clean, organized, and fully compliant with food safety and hygiene standards
Assisting with inventory control and ingredient ordering when required
Contributing ideas for new recipes and seasonal creations
Maintaining a professional, proactive attitude during service
Requirements:
Proven experience as a baker, preferably in luxury hotels or high-end gastronomic establishments
Strong knowledge of artisanal baking techniques, sourdough, long fermentation processes, and temperature control
Ability to work night or early-morning shifts
Attention to detail, discipline, and commitment to excellence
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Passion for baking, innovation, and continuous learning
Professional appearance and proactive mindset
Valid work permit for Spain
