We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Please note, this position will be required to work some nights and weekends.
Job Responsibility
Follow production guidelines for all departments, including Bakery, Catering, and Commissary
Prepare baked goods and food items according to established recipes, brand standards, and health and safety regulations
Demonstrate knowledge of baking methods, cooking techniques, and general food preparation
Accurately measure ingredients by volume and weight to ensure consistency and quality
Evaluate food quality and readiness through tasting and visual inspection
Set up and break down workstations efficiently before and after shifts
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including all equipment and utensils
Use correct portions when baking, preparing, and serving items
Ensure all baked goods are attractively presented and properly displayed
Serve bakery items to customers and provide helpful information about products
Requirements
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices with at least 2 years experience in a baking environment
Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
