Job Description

We are looking for a backend engineer to join a dynamic team at Fever, a leading tech platform for live entertainment. The role involves software development, system design, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and collaborative engineering. You’ll also work on high-traffic applications, microservices, and participate in hackathons and team-building activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Create production grade Java code designed to handle high levels of traffic, measuring the outcome of the functionalities and improving the product
  • Participate in team plannings, groomings, and retrospectives
  • Design solutions to difficult problems, from architecture to implementation
  • Analyse usage from users and evolve the platform to meet their needs
  • Participate in hackdays or hackathons
  • Participate in team buildings and collaborate effectively with engineering team members

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge on good practices, testing and design patterns
  • You are proficient in business English
  • You know how to deliver code from development to production
  • Experience with RESTful APIs (implementation and consumption)
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Nice to have

  • Java (J2EE/ Java 17)
  • Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
  • REST APIs
  • NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes environments
  • Used to working with tools like Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline
