Job Description:

We're seeking an exceptional and ambitious Backend engineer who thrives in high-intensity environment with lots of unsolved challenges and wants to build something revolutionary. Job Responsibility:

Work closely with the founding team and early customers to build a world-class AI-powered product
Architect, develop and maintain the server-side logic, databases, APIs, and other backend processes to meet application requirements
Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements
Engage in the entire application lifecycle and hold high bar for coding, debugging, and deploying with an emphasis on high-quality, scalable code

Requirements:

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment & wear multiple hats
5+ years of backend development experience
Experience with developing products built on top of LLMs / ML
Proficient in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, containerization and scaling microservice
Experience in building products from zero to one
Ability to seek & find the right resources for solving open-ended problems
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Nice to have:

Experience working in a small startup environment (Seed or Series A)
Experience working across the stack
Understand data lake / data warehouse
Understand Transformer / Attention / GPU inference
Experience with AWS, Supabase, LaunchDarkly & Betterstack
