Job Description

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to Build and maintain high-quality backend services that are secure, well-tested, well-documented, and optimized for production use.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate API designs into clean, scalable production code
  • Follow Controller-Service-Repository patterns and coding standards
  • Implement security, validation, and access control
  • Write unit and integration tests covering business logic and edge cases
  • Investigate and resolve bugs with structured root cause analysis
  • Maintain API documentation, authentication flows, and version histories
  • Update Postman collections and integration guides
  • Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies (in-memory, CDN)
  • Monitor service performance and suggest improvements
  • Work with frontend engineers on contracts, mocks, and integration support
  • Support DevOps in deployment, containerization, and CI/CD
  • Participate in retrospectives and process improvements

Requirements

  • Strong backend development in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#
  • Experience with REST APIs, relational & NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with microservices, pub/sub, and distributed systems
  • Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
