Job Description

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to Build and maintain high-quality backend services that are secure, well-tested, well-documented, and optimized for production use.

Job Responsibility

Translate API designs into clean, scalable production code
Follow Controller-Service-Repository patterns and coding standards
Implement security, validation, and access control
Write unit and integration tests covering business logic and edge cases
Investigate and resolve bugs with structured root cause analysis
Maintain API documentation, authentication flows, and version histories
Update Postman collections and integration guides
Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies (in-memory, CDN)
Monitor service performance and suggest improvements
Work with frontend engineers on contracts, mocks, and integration support
Support DevOps in deployment, containerization, and CI/CD
Participate in retrospectives and process improvements

Requirements

Strong backend development in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C#
Experience with REST APIs, relational & NoSQL databases
Familiarity with microservices, pub/sub, and distributed systems
Working knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 4y+ of experience in working with Java, Spring
